We love beautiful people, so why would we ever let something like sexuality get in the way of us admiring some beautiful souls?
So, in honour of World Pride Week, here are 10 of the Sexist LGBTQ celebs out there right now.
10. Frank Ocean
Frank Ocean’s debut album Channel ORANGE was both a success critically and culturally. While the mainstream hip hop community might not be as readily receptive to the LGBTQ community (rapper T-Pain said in an interview that he knew people who won’t work with Frank Ocean just because he’s gay), it hasn’t stopped him from touring the world.
9. Ellen Page

SOURCE: The Hollywood Reporter
The pint-sized Canadian actress has been wow-ing movie goers ever since she made her mainstream debut in 2007′s Juno. Earlier this year, Page revealed that she identified herself as a lesbian at the Time to THRIVE conference in February. While her confession may have been newsworthy, it was her eloquent speech that really caught our attention. It was moving, inspiring and a fantastic show of bravery.
8. Tegan and Sara

Who doesn’t love Tegan and Sara? The indie pop duo are Canadian so you know they’re just so nice, behind some of our favourite songs, are proud supporters of the of the LGBTQ community. What more could you ask for?
7. Andrew Rennells

SOURCE: youngarts.org
This cutie stole the show as the lead in the hit Broadway musical, The Book of Mormon. He also never fails to make us laugh every time he appears on Girls as Hannah Horvath’s gay ex-boyfriend.
6. Laverne Cox

SOURCE: Baltimore Sun
There’s only one word to describe this lovely: QUEEN.
The transgender actress broke all kinds of barriers when she won a role on Netflix’s widely popular series, Orange is the New Black. Then after a notable snub from Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People list, she landed the mother-effing cover like a BOSS. With every interview, she’s done her very best to change the way the public thinks and treats the transgender community. For that, we can’t help but play the following song for her:
5. Anderson Cooper

There’s nothing sexier than intelligence and as a top journalist, Cooper has plenty of smarts.
Let’s also not forget how cute he is when he giggles:
4. Sam Smith

SOURCE: NPR
Didn’t know that Sam Smith was gay? Neither did we until we read his interview with The Fader Magazine where he casually explained he wrote his debut album, In The Lonely Hour, after he fell in love with a boy who didn’t love him back. What a fool that boy is because In The Lonely Hour became the fastest selling album of the 2014 in the U.K. and has broken the record for highest U.K. male artist first week debut album sales.
It’s just that beautifully buttery voice of his… It just makes us want to cry in a good way whenever we hear it. Seriously, we can’t get over this Whitney Houston cover. It’s like magic.
3. Tyler Oakley

SOURCE: I Wove Youtubers on Tumblr
Tyler Oakley is like our little ray of YouTube sunshine. The YouTuber somehow makes us pee from laughing so hard with his funny take on life, love and general nonsense. We also feel like we become better people whenever he gets a little serious to churn out some amazing advice.
2. Megan Fox

SOURCE: People
Megan fox is a fox. ‘Nuff said.
But if you are wondering when you’ll see this hot action star again, she’ll be kicking some ass as April O’Neil in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
1. Ellen Degeneres and Portia Di Rossi

SOURCE: People
Okay, we’re cheating here by putting a couple at the top of our list, but can you blame us? There’s really nothing more beautiful than love itself and going by that logic, Ellen and Portia are beauty personified. Every time we catch them looking at each other during a taping of Ellen, our hearts grow three times its original size. The daytime talk show queen/comedian and the actress just want to make the world and each other happy. How can you deny them that?
